GENERAL RESERVATION POLICIES
Reservation will be only be guaranteed on the basis of a valid credit card. Taxes and service charges are additional wherever applicable.
Check-In Time: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Check Out Time: 11:00 AM
All guests must produce a valid 21+ ID upon Check-in.
ADA compliant guest room is available and should be reserved in advance.
Because the Knickerbocker Yacht Hotel is a unique hotel, we have regular hours for our guests to arrive. We have staff available from 7AM to 11PM each day. Should you find that you will arrive and require check in after 11PM daily, we can accommodate this with an additional $75.00 charge. In order to accommodate, please contact the hotel as soon as you determine the need for the late check in.
In the event of a guest No Show, a fee of one night’s rate will be charged.
Reservations must be cancelled twenty four (24) hours prior to arrival date unless otherwise stated
For cancellations that occur within twenty four (24) hours prior to arrival date, a fee of one (1) night room and tax will be charged to your credit card on file
Knickerbocker Yacht Hotel has a zero tolerance policy and has the right to refuse service or accommodation in the hotel or may remove a person who: while on the premises of the hotel acts in an intoxicated or disorderly manner, destroys or threatens to destroy hotel property, or causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance; or refuses or unable to pay for the accommodations or services. Knickerbocker Yacht Hotel may limit the number of persons who may occupy a particular guest room in the hotel and will only allow registered guests to use its facilities. A person who negligently or intentionally causes damage to the hotel or any furniture or furnishings within the hotel, shall be liable for damages observed by the hotel staff, including the hotel’s loss of revenue resulting from the inability to rent or lease rooms while the damage is being repaired.
Advance deposits may be required during predetermined dates and or during peak season. Deposits may be requested as one or more; non-refundable/transferable/negotiable and cannot be cancelled.

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid identification
DEBIT / CREDIT CARD POLICY
Debit and Credit Cards will be authorized at check-in and or at the time of booking for the amount of stay. The authorization will hold funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during your stay will be charged. Debit card users should be aware that the pre-authorization for room and tax for your entire stay will reflect as a charge on your account, it may take 14 days to release the adjusted funds after check-out. To avoid this type of situation, it is recommended you use a credit card. The hotel does not have power to release authorizations.
The hotel has one room that accommodates additional persons on a sofa-bed for additional charge. Please contact the hotel directly for more details. Hotel has only one king bed per room. No roll-away will be placed in rooms.
Maximum capacity of baby cribs per room is one. Please contact hotel directly a minimum of 24 hours prior to check-in.
Knickerbocker Yacht Hotel does not allow pets, with the exception of service animals.
Please note that Knickerbocker Yacht Hotel is located in the Hamlet of Port Washington. The Hamlet has a noise ordinance from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, which is strictly enforced. Guest(s) who do not comply with the ordinance when reminded by hotel staff will be asked to leave the property and will be charged for any remaining balance of their stay.
Knickerbocker Yacht Hotel is a smoke free facility. If a smoking violation occurs in a room, the guest will be charged a $250 cleaning fee.
